Possie ranks car parks by how long you’ll walk from the car park to your destination. No car park pays to appear or to rank higher.

Walk time

On the free plan, walk times are estimates based on straight-line distance with an allowance for streets (shown with “~”). Pro uses real walking routes from Google for the closest 10 car parks.

Live spaces

Live counts are only available for Transport Park&Ride car parks. Free spaces are the total spaces minus the occupied count Transport for NSW reports, and can be a few minutes old. “Plenty” means at least a quarter free, “Almost full” means fewer than one in ten free.

Park&Ride options

When no live car park is within walking distance, Possie also shows live Park&Ride car parks where you can take public transport for the last leg, ranked by drive time from your start, with full car parks hidden.

Sorting

You can re-sort by distance, free spaces or total trip time. Ties go to the car park with more free spaces, then the closer one, so the order is stable.
